Young women with a special interest in women's empowerment or with a desire to support the work of Scranton Women's Leadership Center can benefit immensely from the Center Internship Program. At the center's office in Seoul, Korea, interns learn how SWLC's programs provide resources to young women worldwide. Furthermore, interns have the opportunity to coordinate SWLC's many scholarship and leadership programs, contributing to SWLC's vision of empowering young women around the world.
In addition to supporting SWLC's programs, interns also work with various non-governmental organizations in Korea and build networks with other Scranton Scholars. By being immersed in Korean culture, interns can also gain an understanding and perspective on the history, values and people of Korea, as well as today's increasingly global society.
